Buzzin Betty is our single origin espresso.
This lot is coming from the farm Olhos D agua owned by Marcelo Moreira de Souza.The farm is located in Rio Paranaiba , Minas Gerais.In terms of area, Minas Gerais is the 4th largest state in Brazil, but when it comes to Arabica cultivation, the region its the most important in the country. It produces about 74% of Brazil’s coffee.
The region holds the perfect combination between altitude, flat topography
and a blessed climate pattern with well-defined seasons. Hot and wet
summers favour intense flowering and uniform cherry maturation;
while dry and warm winters with low air moisture contribute to keep the
intrinsic quality of the coffee during harvest and processing. Cerrado is
relatively new to coffee production: in the 1980s, many coffee producers
flew from the South following a few frost episodes and settled in Cerrado
to pursue their passion.
