Our far-out little alien has landed again, this time with a next-level filter coffee from the lush highlands of Kirinyaga, Kenya. Roasted for filter, this AB lot is an absolute blackcurrant bomb, with intense flavours of Earl Grey tea, Ribena, and juicy blackcurrant, all balanced with a clean, citrusy acidity and a silky mouthfeel.

This coffee is grown by over 800 smallholder farmers delivering cherries to the Kii Factory, part of the Rung’eto Farmers’ Cooperative Society. Located just 3 miles from the farms, the factory receives deliveries by wheelbarrow, bike, and even motorbike.
Coffee cherries are hand-sorted, washed in the Kii River, and dried on raised beds overlooking a stunning wildlife corridor linking the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.

The result? A filter roast that’s as complex and vibrant as Freddy’s intergalactic dance moves.
