🌄 The Story Behind the Coffee
La Secreta is run by Moisés Chica, a fourth-generation coffee grower from Pueblo Bello, Cesar. Farming 33 hectares in the Sierra Nevada, Moisés represents a new generation of Colombian producers — deeply connected to family tradition while pushing quality and experimentation forward.
Taught the craft of coffee growing by his father from an early age, Moisés learned every step of the process — planting, harvesting, and processing — turning coffee into both a livelihood and a symbol of resilience. By 18, he was certified with the Specialty Coffee Association, and today he focuses on producing differentiated coffees that highlight the unique character of his region.
This natural-processed lot is handpicked at peak ripeness and carefully dried to amplify its fruit-forward profile, resulting in a coffee that’s expressive, aromatic, and full of movement in the cup.
